Olive Nerite Snails

$.99/ea.
These snails are in high demand for fresh water, brackish water tanks, and ponds. They can be converted easily to salt water and are extremely hardy snails. These snails are not a variety that will crawl out of your tank. They have a big appetite for algae and will be found on glass and on rocks. Many of the Olive nerites that we have collected have barnacles on their shells. We have had years of experience keeping these snails, but have not had them in stock for quite a long time. We are happy to offer them again!

Tiger Nerites are as beautiful as they are hardy. They will work hard for you in freshwater, brackish water or even salt water. They will not crawl out of your tank. You will love these gorgeous snails and will never have to worry about them "taking over", they reproduce in highly brackish and salt water only.

Horned Nerite Snails

$1.49/ea.
The Horned Nerite snails are a bit smaller than the other varieties of Nerites. They will not crawl out of your tank. They have a big appetite for algae and will be found on glass and on rocks. There are a variety of color patterns, like most nerites, each color and pattern is unique to each snail. We have seen the typical black and gold stripe, olive color and even a spotted snail with horns. We are happy to offer them again!

Zebra Nerite Snails

$1.75/ea.
Perhaps the most beautiful of the freshwater snails. Very similar to all the other Nerites, this snail is very hardy and travels between fresh and salt water environments. All of the nerites obtain the size of a marble, maybe just slightly larger than a standard marble. They are great algae eaters, peaceful and will not over run your aquarium.

Ivory Mystery Snails

$1.99/ea.
These snails are in high demand for fresh water tanks, and ponds. They are better suited for ponds or very large aquariums. These snails are a larger snail, about the size of a ping pong ball. They also consume a lot of algae and decaying plant material. They do reproduce, but it is more easily accomplished in a pond setting. If you need to remove a lot of algae or reduce plant litter, I recommend these guys.

Gold Mystery Snail

$1.79/ea.
Here is a very interesting and desirable snail. The Rabbit Snails come from freshwater mountain lakes in Indonesia. They do not produce many off spring which means you don't have to worry about having too many snails. They may breed up to every 6 weeks. A relatively large "egg pod" will be "laid". within a few minutes, up to three baby snails, the exact replica of the adults will emerge. These snails are currently about 2.5"-3" long.

"Blue" Rabbit Snails

$7.29/ea.
Rabbit snails are very cool snails. They are fun to watch, they keep sand/substrate clean and they don't breed too rapidly. These snails come in all sorts of color variations. I came across this snail sold as "Blue" Rabbit snail. It doesn't have much "blue" to it as far as I can tell. They may have been bred with a blue variety which could indicate their offspring could show even more blue coloration. They are still very fun snails to have and they are useful for eating algae and cleaning up access food. Don't forget, ALWAYS FREE SHIPPING on orders over $60.00!

Malaysian Trumpet Snails

.49/ea.
The Malaysian Trumpet snails are in high demand for fresh water tanks, and ponds. They are extremely hardy snails. These snails are not a variety that will crawl out of your tank. They have a big appetite for algae and detritus. The Trumpet snails are collected by us from local water systems. They do reproduce rapidly. They will dig through your substrate and turn up dirt and reduce substrate compaction. They are a very useful snail for keeping aquarium excess food and algae free.

Albino Mystery Snails

$1.89/ea.
These snails are in high demand for fresh water tanks, and ponds. They are better suited for ponds or very large aquariums. These snails are a larger snail, about the size of a ping pong ball. Blue Mystery Snails

$1.99/ea.
Mystery snails are very popular in freshwater aquariums and ponds. They reach a large size(a little larger than a golf ball) and eat a lot of algae. These particular snails are the Blue variety. Their shells have a blue hue to them. Their bodies have a definite blue pigment. They are about the size of a marble right now. Great algae eaters and detritus eaters.
